The forks are bent backwards in case you haven't realised. £250 is that a misprint?

Hi there, not sure who's told you 330g? more around 350g-370g. I'm about 13.5-14st in riding gear. They held up fine when i had them, xc/trail riding...red/black runs, odd small jump, never buckled them. But a wheel is only as good as the build.

Best bet would be to remove the old one first, if its a cartridge bb then it should have the axle size written on it, if not simply measure the axle length.

I used a totally different chainset set-up with different interface (chainset with integrated axle - XT M770) than what you need..ie BB with axle.

Yes, should be one of the other, not sure on axle length though...should be a 68mm bb shell width.

You need a regular style BB, will be either sq. taper or octalink depending on the fitting (UN26 or ES25 probably)

What chainset do you have? you have to get the correct one for the chainset, shell and axle width, that's if you are not using an external bearing type, like the one above.

Its a Hollowtech 2 BB from an XT chainset, so depends on what chainset you are using as to whether it would have fit. As far as shell width goes it will fit, most external BB's fit both 68mm and 73mm bottom bracket widths. you just use the spacers to change it.

Ideally i don't want to sell, but due to leg probs and being off work, possible upcoming surgeries on legs that will put me out of action for up to 6 months, and the upcomong house move....haven't really got a choice.
